ALL WINE PACKAGES REQUIRE AN ADULT SIGNATURE AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.

You will need to download the FedEx App on your smart device and start an account. You can easily track, redirect, hold, and transfer your packages through the App.

Deliveries are always subject to weather, Covid, and shipping logistics that are out of our control. Our shipping company is top-notch, and we always strive to get your bottles to you on time and at the right temperature. Read more below for the most common questions regarding our shipping protocols. 

We ship to most places in the US that allow reception of wine from out of state. If we cannot ship to you and you feel you have reached this message in error, please hang up and call your state representative and ask them to amend your state’s Alcohol laws.

Our Home Base for shipping is in Sonoma County, California. All deliveries ship direct from the warehouse through our local carrier  shipping partner FedEx.

Shipping has always been complicated. Add Covid to the mix and it gets, well, interesting. Our shipping company is awesome, responsive, and keeps the shipping ship tight. Please let us know if you encounter an issue with your shipment and we will be sure to remedy the situation as fast as possible.

No problem, because you have by now downloaded the FedEx app and set yourself up with an account, right? Right. So simply log in once you get your tracking notification and use the “Hold at FedEx Location” option. This will route your package to the FedEx Office location of your choice. You are then responsible for the retrieval of your package from this location.

Rats! We can re-ship as soon as the wine is returned to warehouse – yes, we’ll be in touch. Please note that we charge a $20 stocking fee, as well as the full shipping charge for all returned shipments. Standard shipping rates apply for all re-shipped packages.

We are so sorry your wine did not arrive when you expected it to.

Once your order is processed, delivery success is 100% up to our Carriers. We literally have no control over their schedules. Believe us, we’ve tried. 

Please consider this when ordering for special occasions. We can always arrange expedited shipping for an additional fee if you need your wine in a guaranteed time frame.

Federal Laws.

It is a requirement for this particular government regulated product. We highly recommend using a business for your delivery address – most deliveries happen during the 9-5/M-F window, and businesses have a higher likelihood of a human adult present to sign for the wines.

Weather happens. Trucks break down. Fire season is a real thing in California. Covid.

Rest assured that there is a small village of very dedicated individuals working really hard around the clock trying desperately to correct whatever just happened that has delayed your order.

We track the temperature for all delivery states and will hold deliveries if we feel your wines would not travel safely.  It’s all good. We’re pros at this. Trust us.

Reminder #1million: an adult signature is required by law for wine deliveries.

They are rare but they do happen. If you receive a bottle that has been damaged or does not cut your particular mustard, contact us immediately and we will remedy the situation. 

Weight + Laws = Complicated Administrative Systems

We use FedEx because they deliver on Saturdays and have a better track record of accountability than any other carrier we’ve used. We go by their rate charts, which in normal times considers the weight and protocols needed for delivery. Once Covid got added to the mix we saw shipping prices go up. Drivers are very Essential Workers in our industry – be nice to your delivery driver!
