A Rosé saturated with color, but surprisingly shy on the nose at first. Blood orange, hints of mint and scent of bitterness similar to Campari. Rose hips and Rainier cherries, Hibiscus and black plums. Charged with some big mineral texture, zippered tight with a very dry finish and with a skosh of tannin from the saignée method. In some ways evokes a cool coastal and chilled red rather, but finishes with all the structure and delight that is undeniably great Champagne.
